Kinsmen give $1.25M for Regina heart lab

Currently, arrhythmia patients in south Saskatchewan are given medication — considered an inadequate treatment — or are sent out of province for treatment, the health region says. Regina hospital wards returning to normal after viral outbreak

With no more cases of norovirus detected, health officials at the Regina General Hospital have declared a recent outbreak over.
The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region issued a news release late Wednesday that said they expected all areas of the hospital to be reopened to visitors and admitting new patients within 24 hours.
The nasty virus, which features intense flu-like symptoms, struck two nursing units on Jan. 27 and 28. A total of seven patients (more…)
